Every friday night in the end of month, BACCHUS BAR held an event that called CELLAR PARTY that you can drink all kind of the best variety of wines from Australia, Chile, Italy, France, South Africa, and Indonesia. The party starts from 8.00 p.m until 10.00 p.m and to make sure you got table, I suggest you book before coming here. Besides wines, you also can eat all the snacks like pasta, pizza, smoked salmon selections, and desserts that served there that I think it’s good enough and fit as wine drinking partner.
They have so many selection of wines as I mentioned before and you can choose what do you want to drink or try all of them! Such an great experience to have a chance to try all of the good wines with the good bar ambience while accompanied by music.
In the salmon section, they served fresh smoked salmon in every form like bruschetta, croisant, vol au ven, or even fresh cut smoked salmon! The croissant was the best followed by vol au ven.
They only served fresh crispy daily bread and served it with mayo, olive, red onion, pickle, truffel oil and other things that you can ask the chef to fit your tastebud.
For starter you must try the Salmon beetroot truffle oil. It is cool, crisp, and refreshing. This is the kind of appetizer you need before eating the main course dinner. The freshness of the salmon and the crispiness of the beetroot is the perfect harmony. And the truffle oil counters the stench of the salmon.
My favorite was the fresh sliced smoked salmon only with fresh sliced lemon and thousand island.
In the pasta section you can choose what kind of pasta do you want to eat like penne, fettucine, pasta, or any of your request. They serve tomato sauce, olio oglio, carbonara with various topping like bacon, meat slice, and many more to fit your taste. The pasta iscooked to perfection, not overcooked or undercooked or I can say it was “Al Dente”. My choice is Aglio Olio Fettucine with sliced pork bacon, they using green fettucine but I dont find any difference with the ordinary one. They also served pizza and fusilli that you can take as much as you want.
You can also see the cooking process and I learned something too cook pasta, they using cold water to balance the temperature after sauteeing the garlic and then put the cooked pasta. After that it’s seasoned until perfectly cooked.
Now my favorite thing is the dessert section! They only served 3 kind of dessert:
Mini Fruit Tart
Gorgeous fruit tart that you can choose the fresh fruit topping: Orange, Strawberry, and Kiwi. It just the perfect combination of crispy base like biscuit, sweet cream filling, fresh cut fruit, and sprinkled with thin jelly layer. Beside the good look of the tart, it also delicious and I can non-stop ate that if my tummy wasn’t full, LoL.
Small piece of cheese cake that topped with chocolate sauce and fresh strawberry, you must try this one if you’re a cheese cake lover! This is one of best cheese cake that I’ve ever taste lately.
White Chooclate Mousse
Mousse in small glass with white chocolate flavor and you can pick various topping like mango, strawberry, and choco chip also with various kind of sauce : mango sauce, chocolate sauce, and starwberry sauce. Because it sweet, better to paired with sour wine to balance the sweet and sour taste
